1. Data collection and processing
When you access this website, we collect and temporarily save general technical information, such as the IP address of your computer, the website from which you visited our website, and the time and duration of your visit. We anonymise and statistically analyse this information and use it exclusively to improve the appeal, content and functionality of our website.
2. Personal data
Additional personal data, such as your email address, name and address, are only collected if you provide them voluntarily, e.g. when using our contact form to send an enquiry or when registering for our extranet. You provide this data on an explicitly voluntary basis and with your consent. We use your personal data solely for the purpose for which you provided it to us, e.g. for the purpose of corresponding with you about your enquiry or processing a contract. Your enquiries may also be forwarded to our importers and authorised dealers. Your personal data will not be used for other purposes without your express consent. Of course you may withdraw your consent for the future at any time. To do so, please send a short email to: email@example.com
3. Forwarding of data
Your personal data will not be transfered to third parties unless we are legally obliged to do so. Where external service providers have access to your personal data, we have put legal, technical and organisational measures in place and carry out regular checks to ensure that the external service providers comply with the provisions of data protection law.
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and that facilitate analysis of your use of the website. As a rule, the information concerning your use of this website produced by the cookie is transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the USA. However, as a result of IP anonymization on this website, your IP address is shortened by Google within Member States of the European Union or in other Contracting States to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases the complete IP address will be communicated to a Google Server in the USA and will be shortened there.
Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on the website activities and for enhancing the use of the website and the use of the services related to internet use for the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of the Google Analytics process will not be merged with other Google data.
You can prevent cookies from being stored by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. However, please note that if you do so, you may not be able to use all the functions of this website. You may also prevent Google from processing this data generated by the cookie and on your usage of the website (incl. your IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plugin through the following Link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en
You may avoid Google Analytics collection by clicking on the following link. An opt-out-cookie is set that blocks future collection of your data when visiting this website:
We refer in particular to the fact that Google Analytics extended the“gat._anonymizeIp();” code in order to provide for the anonymized collection of IP addresses, or so-called “IP-Masking”. We are using this code to realize this anonymization
Google Analytics are also used on this website for evaluating data from AdWords and the double-click cookie for statistical purposes. Should you not wish to do so, you may deactivate it on the Ads Preferences Manager ( https://support.google.com/ads/answer/2662922?hl=en).
Google Tag Manager
Google Tag Manager enables website tags to be managed via an interface. It implements tags only, but no cookies are set and no Personal Data is collected. Google Tag Manager may trigger other tags that may collect data where required, whereas we do not access this data via Google Tag Manager.
Please find further information about Google Tag Manager at the following link: https://marketingplatform.google.com/about/analytics/tag-manager/use-policy/
Google Ads Conversion
By using Google Ads Conversion, we may place ads regarding our services on external websites. By doing so, we can determine in relation to the data of the advertising campaigns how successful the individual advertising measures are. The above-mentioned targeting measure is carried out based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit f) GDPR, stating a legitimate interest. Our interest is targeted advertising, so you receive adverts that may be of interest to you.
The advertising materials are delivered by Google via so-called “Ad Servers”. For this purpose, we use ad server cookies, through which certain parameters for measuring success, such as the insertion of ads or clicks by users, can be measured. If you access our website via a Google ad, Google Adwords stores a cookie on your device. These cookies are not intended to identify you individually and usually expire after 30 days. For this cookie, the unique cookie ID, number of ad impressions per placement (frequency), last impression (relevant for post-view conversions) and opt-out information (mark that the user no longer wishes to be addressed) are usually stored as analysis values.
As we have no influence on the extent and the further use of the data which are raised using this tool by Google please find further information on https://www.google.de/intl/en/policies/privacy.
In certain cases we use the reCAPTCHA service of the company Google to ensure appropriate data security for the use of contact forms. This serves above all for the differentiation of whether the input has been made by a natural person or fraudulently by machine or automated processing. This represents a predominant legitimate interest on our part within the meaning of article 6 section 1 lit. f GDPR. The service includes the sending of the IP address and if necessary other data required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service to Google. The deviating data protection regulations of Google are applicable for this purpose.
This website uses technologies from etracker GmbH (www.etracker.com) to collect and store data for marketing and optimisation purposes. The cookies enable your browser to be identified next time you visit the website.
The data collected using etracker technologies is not used to identify website visitors personally without their express consent or to associate personal data with the person to whom the pseudonym refers. Consent for the collection and storage of data can be withdrawn for the future at any time.
To conduct webinars, we store the e-mail address and name of the webinar participants that they provide via the registration form. We transmit this data to Clevercast, located at De Winterstraat 26, 2140 Borgerhout, Belgium.
An encrypted connection is established between you and Clevercast. The sound or image information transmitted during this session will be recorded by Linde Material Handling GmbH for later use. On the one hand to provide the participants with a recording, and on the other hand to use it for marketing purposes. In this case we will give a notice before the webinar.
In addition, Clevercast processes the referrer, user agent and IP address transmitted by the user’s browser for the sole purpose of compiling statistics. These data are not stored but are processed into statistics that cannot in any way be traced back to individual participants.
If a participant is deleted from Clevercast, all of his or her personal data is automatically deleted. When a webinar is deleted by Clevercast, all data of all participants is automatically deleted.
All data is stored on Clevercast’s own servers, which are located in private racks in several separate ISO 27001 compliant data centers within the EU.
